1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your favorite song.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to these questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
6. Feel free to ask me five questions, about whatever you like, and I will respond

The questions I was asked by grayjedi ...

1. If Nirvana was a brand new band in today's day age, and they released Nevermind now, would it have the same impact?

2. In all seriousness, who would you rather see as President for two straight terms - Vince McMahon or Hilary Clinton?

3. Weird Al has asked you for help on his next album. He wants five songs to parody. Who gets skewered? (Bonus points if you come up with clever titles for the parodies.)

4. Are you ACTUALLY gonna follow the rules of this and post the answers in your LiveJournal, or are you gonna be lazy and do them as a reply?

5. Where did the line you used come from?

My responses:

1. Yes, today's music scene is either established bands or one hit wonders. Nevermind was a ground breaking album 15 years ago and I think they would still have an amazing impact in today's music scene.

2. As much as the man makes me sick when I watch his television programs, I am going to say Vince McMahon. He is a VERY smart businessman and sometimes I think this country needs to run more like a business. I have already stated that if Hilary Clinton is elected president I will move to another country (probably Australia or England). I do not think she has what it takes to be president and Bill can only carry her so far. I have also seen what Clinton's good friend Jennifer Granholm has done to this state and do not wish to see it at a national level.

3. Dave Matthews Band's "Ants Marching" parodied to "Pants Marching"
Finger Eleven's "Paralyze" parodied to "Sterilize"
Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" parodied to "Crazy Fish"
OutKast's "Hey Ya!" parodied to "Jabba"
The Verve Pipe's "The Freshman" parodied to "The Yes Man"

4. This will be my first ever post on LiveJournal, but I followed the rules.

5. For those who didn't know what line I used: "Eat, drink, and be Merry, for tomorrow we die." which is a line from the Dave Matthew's song "Tripping Billies"
